A psychotherapeutic group for high-achieving Men of Color to find connection, care, and compassion.
If you’ve ever felt the pressure to hold everything together while silently carrying more than most people realize, this group offers space to lay some of that weight down. The Weight We Carry is an opportunity to connect with other Men of Color who understand the unique intersection of resilience, expectation, and identity.

This 4-week psychotherapeutic group is designed for high-achieving Men of Color navigating the complex intersections of success, identity, and emotional wellness. Through guided discussion, skill-building, and reflection, participants develop emotional clarity, strengthen connection, and redefine what it means to live whole and grounded.
Focus & Approach
This group explores the hidden costs of emotional suppression, perfectionism, and relational disconnection by blending elements of Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and relational group process to help men uncover how unspoken expectations, internalized roles, and attachment patterns shape their relationships and inner lives.
Each session invites participants to move from survival to intentional living, challenging the myth of invulnerability and cultivating emotional fluency, self-compassion, and healthier connection.
